Volunteer Event: Ballona Wetlands Cleanup

On Saturday, April 27th, we are partnering with Friends of Ballona Wetland’s Earth Day event, where volunteers will pull invasive plants and weeds, and collect trash from Ballona Creek. The event will be held from 9:30am to 12:30pm in the Ballona Wetland's Saltwater Marsh. We will meet in the parking lot behind Gordon's Market at 303 Culver Blvd in Playa del Rey.

Volunteers should wear long pants and hiking shoes or running shoes. Please also bring hats and sunscreen, as well as refillable water bottles. For those who arrive early, coffee and light breakfast snacks are available.
