Booker is a Mayoral appointee to the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority and currently Chair of the LA County Commission for Public Social Services. He was a Founding and current board member of Upward Bound House; a nonprofit that provides housing for homeless families with children and a current board member of Westchester Parks and Recreation Advisory Board.
